Front Seat

The Model X’s front seats are great, no dart of space, and gives you a spectacular view due to the huge panoramic windshield, which goes right to the back. The 12-way power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated seats are nice for comfort and flexible for Saudi Arabia’s heat. The yoke (or optional wheel) provides precise control, though stalk-free turn signals require adjustment. The minimalist dashboard, centred around the 17-inch touchscreen, does all the job of controlling the vehicles, and it is easy to use and extremely quick and responsive.

Rear Seat

The Model X’s second row has generous legroom and headroom for three adults, with heated seats and an 8-inch touchscreen for climate and entertainment control. The beautiful and unique, one-of-a-kind Falcon Wing doors make life easy by simplifying access, and ISOFIX anchors cater to families. Also, the X is offered with an optional six- or seven-seat configuration (Plaid is six-seat only), providing extra flexibility, with a third-row where adults can if necessary but not for long distance, whereas children can be comfortable. Colors

The Model X is available in six exterior colours including Pearl White Multi-Coat, Solid Black, Deep Blue Metallic, Ultra Red, Stealth Grey and Lunar Silver.

City Performance  

While driving through mainly Riyadh city, we found the Model X performance exciting on multiple levels, which has a combination of smoothness and agility, despite the city, weight and power.  The steer-by-wire system is undoubtedly a standout feature, giving you that accuracy and responsiveness, which makes navigating through city roads super easy. You get a lot of assistance from the 360-degree camera, which helps a great deal through tight spaces, narrow roads and congested city streets. It was exciting to have the massive power at your disposal, which can be translated into great acceleration when you need, especially the stop-and-go traffic, while the Plaid’s fierce 2.5-second sprint means nothing but exhilarating bursts of power. Also, the energy-efficient regenerative braking is great as it helps recover energy during frequent stops, boosting the range. Now, when you’re in the city, the noise of traffic and everything else is a big deal, and inside the cabin, we didn’t feel a thing; it was remarkably quiet, giving you the much-needed relaxation.

Highway Performance

On the highway, on the other hand, the X does an even better job, simply because the open road provides you with that opportunity to use the massive power of this monster car. The Plaid’s 1,020 hp powertrain is insane, making your overtaking a breeze with rapid acceleration. This can be a really exciting experience on Saudi Arabia’s long stretches of open road. The Long Range variant supports up to 529 km on a single charge, while Tesla’s Supercharger network adds approximately 282 km in just 15 minutes, so you don’t really have any hassle during your long trip, further adding to the highway driving experience. making extended trips practical. Ride

We were impressed with the overall handling of this car, because our initial understanding was that due to size and power, it may be a little challenging, but that wasn’t the change when we actually started driving. It is precise and confidence-inspiring thanks to the combination of steer-by-wire, adaptive suspension, and all-wheel drive. The Plaid’s Track Mode and innovative red brake callipers improve cornering ability, while the Long Range offers balanced, predictable handling suited for everyday driving. You also get help from regenerative braking control during deceleration

You get to choose Tesla Model X in two variants in Saudi Arabia,

• Long Range AWD (SAR 350,297): Here you get a dual motor, with a massive 670 hp of power and 530 km of real-life driving range. It does 0-100 km/h in less than 3.9 seconds, and comes with 20-inch wheels. You can opt for 5/6/7-seat options, and a good combination of luxury and efficiency.
• Plaid AWD (SAR 406,468): This is a performance-oriented model, and to support that, there is a tri-motor, 1,020 hp of insane power and a range of 505 km of real-life driving range. You get a bigger 22-inch wheel, which achieves 0 to 100 km/h under 2.8 seconds. And comes only a 6-seat, no choice of selection.

Both variants come with standard Autopilot, a 17-inch touchscreen, and a 22-speaker audio system.

So, anyone, not really after performance thrill, but wishes to use the X for everyday city driving and some highways, will find the Long Range AWD variant most value for money.
