Interior
Design & Quality
The first thing you realise when inside is the minimalistic design nicely blended with luxury and advanced technology. You won’t fail to feel how spacious the cabin is, and also a beautiful place to be in. The premium synthetic leather upholstery with ebony or walnut trim, and in the Plaid there an extra sporty carbon-fibre accents. The stylish and dynamic ambient lighting, which you can customise to your taste and the unique entry animations make the atmosphere quite awesome. The acoustic glass and improved insulation reduce noise by about 3 dB, which means you’re in for a quiet cabin, and I’m sure many of us will just love that.
However, the major attention grabber or the centrepiece, whatever you prefer to call it, is the 17-inch tilting touchscreen; it is huge and you can tilt it as well. But the important thing is what it does, basically everything you want to can be controlled through this screen, but there is one smaller one about 8 inches at the rear as well for passenger convenience, allowing independent climate and entertainment control. The steer-by-wire yoke improves visibility but may feel unconventional, with an optional flat-bottom wheel is also available.
Overall, the cabin comes across as spacious, largely attributed to a flat floor, tall roofline, and panoramic windshield that bring natural light to the cabin. Also, the rear seats are comfortable and adjustable, equipped with heated and ventilated options, USB-C ports, and gaming capabilities.
Front Seat
The Model X’s front seats are great, no dart of space, and gives you a spectacular view due to the huge panoramic windshield, which goes right to the back. The 12-way power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated seats are nice for comfort and flexible for Saudi Arabia’s heat. The yoke (or optional wheel) provides precise control, though stalk-free turn signals require adjustment. The minimalist dashboard, centred around the 17-inch touchscreen, does all the job of controlling the vehicles, and it is easy to use and extremely quick and responsive.
Rear Seat
The Model X’s second row has generous legroom and headroom for three adults, with heated seats and an 8-inch touchscreen for climate and entertainment control. The beautiful and unique, one-of-a-kind Falcon Wing doors make life easy by simplifying access, and ISOFIX anchors cater to families. Also, the X is offered with an optional six- or seven-seat configuration (Plaid is six-seat only), providing extra flexibility, with a third-row where adults can if necessary but not for long distance, whereas children can be comfortable. Overall, the Tesla car has a spacious, luxurious rear seat that would appeal to most Saudi buyers and also families will find it more practical with that extra space.
AC Vents
The Model X’s tri-zone climate control system, with hidden vents and a HEPA filtration system, is great for handling Saudi Arabia’s extreme heat. This is controlled by the 17-inch touchscreen, which keeps the cabin consistently comfortable, with app-based preconditioning adding extra for all passengers, and quite perfect for long drives or heavy traffic.
Storage Options
The Model X comes with 1925 litres of cargo space when the third row is folded, and 198 litres at the front, as there is no engine, and hidden under-floor storage, all of this adds up to a total of 2610 litres with all seats folded. The centre console, door pockets, and magnetic-closing glovebox are other extra spaces, which help passengers carry stuff around. Similarly, the 2267-kg towing capacity improves the car's utility, catering to various needs, and becomes multipurpose, especially during off-road/ camping adventure trips. Then at each door, you can hold a water bottle or other necessary items.
Armrest
The padded centre armrest gives solid support and also a big comfort feature, which can also be used for storage. It has flexibility, where you can keep a cup holder or slide for more space whenever needed, the size is quite large to hold some of the regular items in there. And, the design appears quite sleek and also supports a relaxed posture with easy touchscreen access. The rear armrest, with cup holders and also comfort features for passenger comfort, all of this gives you an impression of a practical cabin.
Charging Options
You get dual wireless charging pads, several USB-C ports (36-watt), and a 12V socket, all of which ensure easy charging and connectivity options. The wireless pads at the cockpit mean you don’t carry cables, which is not only hassle-free but also reduces potential clutter in the cabin. The rear touchscreen also has USB-C charging for passengers seated, and all of this is certainly adorned by tech-savvy Saudi drivers who prefer constant connectivity.
Boot Space
The Model X comes with 1925 litres of cargo space when the third row is folded, and 198 litres at the front, as there is no engine, and hidden under-floor storage, all of this adds up to a total of 2610 litres with all seats folded. Similarly, the power liftgate and 2267-kg towing capacity improve the car's utility, catering to various needs, and make it multipurpose, especially during off-road/ camping adventure trips. We believe the Model X has enough space for everyday needs and also occasional extra cargo loading capacity that would serve well to Saudi families, nothing that is alarming or to be concerned about.

Exterior
The 2025 Tesla Model X exhibits an aggressive, aerodynamic stance with modern and quite unique but futuristic design, enhancing efficiency and style. Suitably measured across length, width and height, the X with 174 mm ground clearance and adjustable air suspension strikes a balanced on-road refinement with light off-road capability. The updated model now gets a bumper camera, new 20-inch Perihelix wheels, and unique and powerful ambient lighting, upping its range and cabin quietness (3 dB reduction). With a drag coefficient of 0.24, it’s the most aerodynamic production SUV, ideal for any use, be it city or highway, you’re assured of an electrifying experience with power and performance.
Front
The Model X’s front fascia features a stylish and appealing, grille-less design, always a Tesla speciality with a full-width LED light bar, which is powerful enough for night time drives or desert conditions. The front bumper camera boosts Tesla Vision for improved road detection, while the panoramic windshield provides a wide and expansive view, better for Saudi Arabia’s highways. Like Tesla cars are always known for, the X’s minimalist exterior and aerodynamic shape give the car a unique and special look.
Side
Yes, indeed, the X’s side profile is characterised by its iconic Falcon Wing doors, something the car is known for, and Tesla’s cool, distinctive offering. The doors open upward for effortless access in tight spaces, a great advantage in crowded Saudi parking lots. The plush door handles and power-folding side mirrors with turn signals are awesome, adding some element to the exterior design but also reducing drag, while the glass roof elevates the cabin’s airy feel. The stainless-steel beltline and new Perihelic wheels look premium, striking superb style and functionality for urban and desert environments.
Alloy Wheels
You get 20-inch Perihelix Wheels (255/45R20) on the Long Range AWD for efficiency and grip, and 22-inch Machina Wheels (265/35R22 front, 295/30R22 rear) on the Plaid variant which improve overall handling and style. The Plaid’s summer tires and red brake callipers bolster performance, while both wheelsets ensure stability on Saudi Arabia’s roads, from city streets to sandy terrains.
Rear
At the rear is a stylish full-width LED tail light strip and a gloss black Tesla nameplate, which replaces the traditional logo for a modern look. The power liftgate provides easy and convenient cargo access, while a subtle rear spoiler gives nice aerodynamics and high-speed stability. The cameras located around the rear compensate for limited visibility through the sloped rear windshield, perhaps a trade-off for the coupe-like roofline that makes it look attractive as a consequence, though there is a slide drop in cargo height. But the refined fit and finish are great with tight panel gaps, and the tailgate operation feels quick and effortless. So, in summary, the rear of the Model X combines safety, refinement, and practicality, which will make it suitable for busy urban traffic and highway driving.
Colors
The Model X is available in six exterior colours including Pearl White Multi-Coat, Solid Black, Deep Blue Metallic, Ultra Red, Stealth Grey and Lunar Silver.

City Performance
While driving through mainly Riyadh city, we found the Model X performance exciting on multiple levels, which has a combination of smoothness and agility, despite the city, weight and power. The steer-by-wire system is undoubtedly a standout feature, giving you that accuracy and responsiveness, which makes navigating through city roads super easy. You get a lot of assistance from the 360-degree camera, which helps a great deal through tight spaces, narrow roads and congested city streets. It was exciting to have the massive power at your disposal, which can be translated into great acceleration when you need, especially the stop-and-go traffic, while the Plaid’s fierce 2.5-second sprint means nothing but exhilarating bursts of power. Also, the energy-efficient regenerative braking is great as it helps recover energy during frequent stops, boosting the range. Now, when you’re in the city, the noise of traffic and everything else is a big deal, and inside the cabin, we didn’t feel a thing; it was remarkably quiet, giving you the much-needed relaxation.
Highway Performance
On the highway, on the other hand, the X does an even better job, simply because the open road provides you with that opportunity to use the massive power of this monster car. The Plaid’s 1,020 hp powertrain is insane, making your overtaking a breeze with rapid acceleration. This can be a really exciting experience on Saudi Arabia’s long stretches of open road. The Long Range variant supports up to 529 km on a single charge, while Tesla’s Supercharger network adds approximately 282 km in just 15 minutes, so you don’t really have any hassle during your long trip, further adding to the highway driving experience. making extended trips practical. The adaptive air suspension smooths out highway undulations, and the low centre of gravity is a great relief for a composed ride.
Ride
Ride quality is largely defined by the adaptive air suspension and superior cabin insulation, which reduces noise significantly. This design of the cabin effectively absorbs city potholes and highway bumps, and you’re set for a refined, enjoyable experience. The HEPA filtration system is notable for making sure the cabin gets clean air. The Plaid’s soft suspension tuning sharpens the handling without compromising the cabin comfort, no matter the terrain or speed.
Handling
We were impressed with the overall handling of this car, because our initial understanding was that due to size and power, it may be a little challenging, but that wasn’t the change when we actually started driving. It is precise and confidence-inspiring thanks to the combination of steer-by-wire, adaptive suspension, and all-wheel drive. The Plaid’s Track Mode and innovative red brake callipers improve cornering ability, while the Long Range offers balanced, predictable handling suited for everyday driving. You also get help from regenerative braking control during deceleration

Variant
You get to choose Tesla Model X in two variants in Saudi Arabia,
- Long Range AWD (SAR 350,297): Here you get a dual motor, with a massive 670 hp of power and 530 km of real-life driving range. It does 0-100 km/h in less than 3.9 seconds, and comes with 20-inch wheels. You can opt for 5/6/7-seat options, and a good combination of luxury and efficiency.
- Plaid AWD (SAR 406,468): This is a performance-oriented model, and to support that, there is a tri-motor, 1,020 hp of insane power and a range of 505 km of real-life driving range. You get a bigger 22-inch wheel, which achieves 0 to 100 km/h under 2.8 seconds. And comes only a 6-seat, no choice of selection.
Both variants come with standard Autopilot, a 17-inch touchscreen, and a 22-speaker audio system.
Sayarabay Recommends: Our recommendation is the Long Range AWD (SAR 350,297), which is quite good for an average buyer, without spending too much money, performance, higher range, and flexibility to choose the number of seats as per your need. This also means quite suitable for a family that prefers more seats, and also potentially comes with more luggage space. It is fast, fun to drive and has almost everything that you can save that extra money. So, anyone, not really after performance thrill, but wishes to use the X for everyday city driving and some highways, will find the Long Range AWD variant most value for money.
Verdict
The Model X is a powerful EV that redefines luxury electric SUVs in Saudi Arabia with its futuristic design, awesome performance, and advanced technology. Its Falcon Wing doors, 17-inch touchscreen, and up to -mile range create a tech-forward, eco-friendly experience. The Plaid’s 1,020 hp of power and superb means unmatched thrills, at the same time 5-star safety rating and plenty of driver assistance features bring extra confidence. The big cargo space and massive towing capacity are something families will find a lot useful. Despite some build quality issues and some equally compelling rivals, the Model X’s innovation, performance and overall ownership and brand pool are hard to beat in Saudi Arabia right now. If you’re in the market to splurge money on a high-performance EV, the X is your best option. The brand is also expanding after a remarkable entry into KSA, is rapidly expanding its Supercharger network along with over-the-air updates, which should make your ownership experience quite special, especially if you admire the brand Tesla.
